Just my daily check in.
Last night the lakers were swept, something i could have predicted because of their half-hearted season.
By due request, here's a shout out to my best friend Jules Cook. Jules, man, how are things? Jules would also like me to say the number of days until camp kieve, the greatest place in the world. Unfortunately, i dont have the count, but look for a comment from jules for the exact number of days.
In other news, the celtics play the heat tonight, as of right now, the heat are scraping ahead with a 86-84 lead with only 0:46 left in the game. Go celts!
Finally, in a recent poll by vanity fair, 57% of americans between the ages of 18-50 dont think they could last in a hollywood relationship, causing every hollywood relationship to simulainiously seperate, citing "the media" as their reason/excuse for break up.

Pilot Post

Hello everyone! My name is Will and this is what I hope to be a long and healthy blog about sports, movies, TV, music, books, and more.
Just a little background info:

• I currently live in Minnesota.
• I have lived in Maine, New York, and Scotland, and have relatives in CA and ME.
• I am 13.
• I play basketball, baseball, football, love movies, etc. and yeah.

To start today, let's talk about those NBA playoffs. Brutal game between the Celtics and the Heat. And what about Rondo, I thought he was out for at least a season, he came down hard on that left arm.

The Lakers are also in trouble, down 3-0 to the Mavs, they've got to pick it up, especially Gasol.

In baseball news, congratulations to Mr. Justin Verlander on his second career no-hitter, a 9-0 blowout against the Blue Jays. It was almost a perfect game, his one walk coming in the bottom of the 8th after a 12 pitch at bat. The ball just missed the outside corner, but it was the right call. 

Now on to the world of entertainment. The new movie Fast Five, the latest installment in the Fast and Furious franchise, has premiered to stellar reviews, a big surprise for the usually adrenaline pumped, cliche filled, movies. I haven't got to see it yet, but the good reviews have renewed my curiosity.  For a great way to rate movies, check out Metacritic.com, also because I will relay their score system in my posts.

Last week we said goodbye to Michael Scott, in a teary and heartwarming/breaking episode. We'll miss you Michael. 

30 Rock is nearing its season finale, with a number of surprise endings that could be in store. What is the future of TGS? What will happen with the love triangle between Jack, Avery, and Kim Jong-Il? Will Tracy reclaim the lost time from when he was in "Africa?" Oh yes, that brings me to my next point, a certain Ms. Fey's recently released autobiography, Bossypants. Just look at the cover and you know what you are in store for:

If you are looking for a good action read, try Anthony Horowitz's new book, Scorpia Rising. In the 9th installment in the Alex Rider series, the terrorist group Scorpia attempts a final plot to kill Alex and regain its lost fame. This time though, there is the return of a certain clone, a shocking discovery about Smithers, and a very insane villain. I highly recommend it.
